The Company

   James M. Oswalt and H. Richard Muehleisen founded Oswalt in 1988.

   In 1990, the Company was incorporated as an S-Corporation.

   In 1991, Jeff Martin joined the Company as an equal partner.  Jeff Martin expanded the Company’s product offerings to include small wares.

   In 1993, Huff Harper joined the Company and launched its installation/service department to provide installation for foodservice equipment projects.

   In 1996, the Company launched its design services division.  The design services division, which specialized in computer-aided design (CAD) plans for restaurants, elevated Oswalt to the status of a full-service restaurant supply contractor.

   In 1997, the Company launched its commercial refrigeration sales division.

   In the following years, Oswalt expanded its commercial refrigeration sales division to include commercial refrigeration, residential heat and air service, commercial heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) installation.

   In 1998, the Company purchased a building adjacent to its own.  The new facility doubled Oswalt’s warehousing space.

   In 2000, the Company successfully launched an integrated website to provide online ordering of food service products.

   Today, Oswalt continues to specialize in distribution and installation of food service equipment primarily in the new construction industry.  The Company achieved revenue of approximately $15.4 million in fiscal year 2007.

Market

   Oswalt, located in Oklahoma City, OK, currently operates in approximately 28 states.

   Approximately 67% of the Company’s revenue is from equipment and supplies sold on new construction projects

   The Company has successfully completed a multitude of construction projects including restaurants, schools, churches, hospitals, arenas, stadiums, corporate dining halls, casinos, child care facilities, country clubs, correctional facilities, college dining halls, and government dining facilities.
