Oswalt Culinary Cook-off

Twelve of the top chefs Oklahoma will be selected to compete in the 2012 Oswalt Culinary Cook-off, to be held during the Oklahoma Restaurant Convention & Expo, August 29 and 30, 2012 at the Cox Convention Center.  


The Culinary Cook-off is a cooking competition in which 12 talented chefs will race the clock to create dazzling dishes using a mystery basket of ingredients.  Chefs will compete in various heats until the contest is narrowed down and a Grand Champion is named.  They will be competing for a trophy, medals, and over $5,000 in cash prizes.  

Heat times on Wednesday, August 29 will be 10:30 a.m., 12:00 noon, 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Those chefs advancing to the Semifinals will compete on Thursday, August 30 at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m., with the final 2 chefs competing in the Finals at 1:00 p.m.
